About

We Take Care of Everything

CDN Controls has proudly been operating out of the Peace Region for over 6 years. Today, we have five locations across Alberta and British Columbia, and a team of over 250 trained professionals that are ready, at a moment’s notice, to handle anything you throw at us.

We house parts stores, panel shop, repair shop, and a full fleet of vehicles that allows us to provide full-service, quality work. Because we are in control of each step of the job, we can ensure you are always getting the best service and most reliable product. It also means we are able to be flexible, and have the capacity to look after every element of the work you need completed, from design to commissioning and maintenance.

When all is said and done we want our customers to leave feeling like they’ve been well taken care of. We won’t settle for less than satisfaction, so if there is something we can do to improve your experience, if something needs fixing, or if ever you face challenges with our products, please contact us. We are here to make your job easier.

History

Dean Fraser and Nick Stewart founded CDN Controls in 2010. As a pair of young, aggressive entrepreneurs, they shared a vision to line up the right people, facilities, equipment, and services to become a full-service, people-focused, one-stop shop for instrumentation and electrical. Growth followed quickly. The company moved to its new, expanded location in February 2015. The new spot consolidates all services on three acres of land in west Grande Prairie. In 2016, CDN Controls acquired Dalco Instruments, a like-minded, service-first instrumentation and electrical company with expertise in the oil, gas, mining, and pulp and paper industries. Through their location in Fort St. John, we are able to better serve our British Columbia clients.
